Al Warqa villa — is AC duct cleaning actually worth it here, or is a coil-and-filter service enough?

Our Al Warqa villa has ducted AC and given how dusty it is out here, I keep being offered duct cleaning. Is it actually worth it in an area like this, or is a normal coil-and-filter service enough for most of what I'm noticing (a bit of dust, airflow not quite what it was)? I don't want to pay for the bigger job if the smaller one does it, but I also don't want to keep patching if the ducts really are the issue.

Sensible question, because duct cleaning is genuinely useful sometimes and oversold often. In a dusty area like Al Warqa the ducts do collect more, but a routine coil-and-filter service clears the large majority of weak-airflow and dust complaints, and full duct cleaning is only really worth it when there's a specific reason: visible dust actually blowing out of the vents, a persistent musty smell that a coil clean doesn't fix, debris left after a renovation, or someone in the home with allergies or asthma. Absent one of those, the money is better spent on regular filter and coil cleaning, which is where most 'it's dusty and weak' problems actually live. The way to tell: have the coil and filters done first, and if the airflow and dust genuinely don't improve, or you can see dust at the vents themselves, then the ducts are worth doing. Booking AC duct cleaning in Dubai makes sense once you've ruled out the simpler service and there's a real symptom, not as a default. A good tech will tell you honestly which one you actually need.

Got talked toward duct cleaning once and a proper coil-and-filter service sorted the airflow completely, didn't need the ducts. Now I only would if I actually saw dust at the vents or smelt something. Rule out the cheap one first is right.
