Best AC maintenance company in Dubai Marina? Share your experience

Priya N.HomeownerNew residentPosted 30 May 20262.7k viewsActive

About to move into a Marina apartment and want to line up a reliable AC maintenance company before summer really bites. I'd rather hear real experiences than Google ads.

What's worked for you — and just as useful, who would you avoid? Trying to understand fair pricing for a yearly contract vs. paying per visit.

I've been paying per-visit and honestly for a single split it's worked out cheaper than an annual contract. A contract makes more sense once you've got 2+ units or a ducted system. Whatever you pick, ask whether coil cleaning and gas checks are *included* or billed extra — that's where quotes quietly differ.

Trade view (I won't name-drop my own company): judge them on three things — do they do a proper coil clean not just a filter rinse, do they check gas pressure with gauges rather than eyeballing it, and do they give you a written report. A 20-minute "service" that's really just a filter wash is the industry's dirty secret. If cooling is your actual problem right now, read AC running but not cooling first.

Get three quotes and make them itemise. I found the mid-priced one was better than the cheapest *and* the most expensive. Cheapest cut corners; priciest was paying for a fancy office.

One thing that helps separate a good AC company from a mediocre one: what they actually do on a service. There's a newer thread on how often an AC really needs a regas and what a proper regas involves — a company pushing a 'yearly regas' on a sealed system is a red flag, whereas one that talks about finding leaks, vacuuming and weighing in the charge knows its stuff. Handy filter when you're comparing companies.
