Annual maintenance contract vs paying per call-out — which saves money in Dubai?

The numbers people quote in Dubai: - Pay-per-visit handyman: around AED 150–250 an hour, plus parts. - Whole-home AMC (AC + plumbing + electrical, a set number of visits + emergency call-outs): roughly AED 3,000–6,000 a year. - AC-only AMC: from about AED 100 a month for a couple of services plus a few priority call-outs.

Most households here end up calling someone six to eight times a year once you add up AC services, a leak, a tripped board, a wobbly door. At that frequency the AMC usually wins — and the part people underrate is priority in July/August, when non-contract customers wait days for an AC callout.
