Reliable, reasonably-priced plumber recommendations (Dubai)?
Tired of no-shows and inflated quotes. How do you all find a plumber who turns up when they say and charges fairly? General tips welcome, not just names.

From the other side of the wrench: always ask for the call-out fee and hourly rate up front, and whether the call-out is waived if you proceed. A pro who won't tell you their rate on the phone is a red flag. Photos of the problem sent ahead also get you a much more accurate quote. For a vetted option, Al Ghubaiba's plumbers cover the usual apartment and villa jobs across Dubai.

Whoever you use, keep their number the moment they do a good job. A reliable plumber is worth more than a slightly cheaper stranger. I also ask them to explain the fix — the good ones happily do.
